BCFA is pleased to provide opportunities for Crematory Operations Training.
Because of the irreversible nature of the process, anyone involved with cremation should be fully trained
in not only the safe and efficient operation of the cremation equipment but also the theoretical
application of cremation and the standard of care expected of anyone connected in any way to the
funeral rite of an individual. Everyone from the licensed funeral director to the administration staff,
from the embalmer to the grounds keepers, all are part of the process of turning a dead body into a living
memory for someone. A certified crematorium operator must never lose sight of this fact.
